About the Artist

Aspirations fill my soul to make a canvas come alive with bold strokes of paint. Sometimes the brush dances wildly, and other times softly swirling. And, if the mood insists, brilliant and vibrant colors run here and there with excitement, screaming, “Look at Me!”

Landscapes, Cityscapes, Seascapes, Portraits, Still Life Paintings and Drawings…I desire all subject matter. All that potential grabs my attention through the beauty of color, composition, lots of motion, freedom, and fun!

Through portraiture I endeavor to tell each person’s intriguing story by capturing expressions of serenity, grief, joy, moodiness, and happiness. I want each work to touch the heart-soul-and emotions of the person in the work and share it with the viewer. In other words, allowing for an affinity…a connection!

Impressionism…Realism…Abstract Concepts, may they all blend together creating and capturing stories to be told on canvas!
