I loved every minute of my experience painting, "Master Mind" through the use of palette knives, applying thick color, and painting frantically.
“I could not paint at all if I had to paint slowly. Every effect is so transient, it must be rapidly painted.”
– Joaquín Sorolla
I was challenged to paint any subject matter, using a red, blue, yellow, white and black palette, with no reference to go by other than what spontaneously came to mind. I hit the canvas running to see what would show up! That's it, that's how, "Master Mind" came to be. A true original!
