Freedom

One Hundred Strangers were photographed throughout Los Angeles by my brother-in-law, which in turn inspired me to sketch faces from his book, "100 Strangers" by Andy Kennelly (Flickr.com). Each Stranger tells their story through their smile, expression, posture, or demeanor.

I titled this sketch, "Freedom" from the photo of Stranger #27, whose name is Rubin.  He fights to be free from diabetes and life on the streets.
